As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a key technical and advisory role in ensuring Diligenta and the services we provide remain fully compliant with FCA rules, requirements, and principles. You’ll support business areas with expert regulatory guidance, provide Line 2 regulatory oversight across client accounts and third-party outsourcers, and help maintain a strong compliance culture. The role also involves monitoring regulatory risk exposure, supporting strategic initiatives, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders to promote a collaborative and compliant operating environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Providing compliance advice and guidance to business areas to ensure Diligenta continues to operate compliantly and without regulatory enforcement
- Providing Line 2 regulatory oversight for client accounts and third-party outsourcers to ensure day-to-day operational compliance
- Producing regular and ad-hoc regulatory reports and supporting the Compliance Manager in developing and promoting a compliance culture
- Representing Compliance on strategic projects and initiatives, providing regulatory support, challenge, and guidance
- Monitoring regulatory risk exposure, agreeing remedial actions, and supporting assurance to client compliance divisions and the Diligenta Head of Compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of FCA rules, regulatory structures, and the regulatory development and consultative process
- Proven experience in a Compliance role within Financial Services (minimum 4–5 years)
- Ability to influence stakeholders, propose compliance solutions, and take responsibility for regulatory decision-making
- Experience reviewing management information, identifying trends, and providing appropriate challenge
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to recognise compliance implications of business initiatives while maintaining commercial awareness
