At Diligent, we are on a mission to help fintechs and banks automate and enhance Anti Financial Crime operations with AI agents. Leading banks and payment companies use us to automate risk investigations they run when onboarding and monitoring customers in Europe, Middle East, USA and Asia. Our founders have built fraud and AML risk solutions protecting billions in transactions at Europe's top fintechs, and we're taking that experience to revolutionize how financial institutions verify the legitimacy of their customers.
With deep expertise in AI-driven risk assessment, we automate the routine investigative workflows that fincrime compliance teams spend hours on manually, freeing them to focus on complex cases that truly require human judgment. We already work with leading fintech unicorns and banks, are growing fast and we're looking for ambitious problem-solvers who are excited about using AI to tackle financial crime at a global scale. If you're passionate about making a real impact in the fight against fincrime, we'd love to have you on our team!
You are part of the founding team. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company - from go-to-market strategy and customer success, to high-level strategic decisions. As a GTM associate you'll work directly with our Cofounder and CEO on the highest priority initiatives each week. You'll lead our commercial operations and GTM strategy, support product delivery to customers, and help build the foundations of our company. This role is perfect for someone who is a hustler, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to wear multiple hats at an early-stage startup.
Typically, this looks like:
- (40%) Cold calling and outbound prospecting (daily dials, personalization, booking qualified meetings)
- (30%) Deployment strategy + customer success (support pilots, sit in on demos/onboarding, capture feedback, help drive use case expansion)
- (20%) Funnel management + GTM operations (CRM hygiene, building AI Automations for sequencing, pipeline reporting, experiment tracking, handoff notes)
- (10%) Events, conferences, and community/network-led outreach (where relevant)
You’ll work directly with senior leaders at banks, PSPs, and fintech unicorns, gaining access to decision-makers and industry problems that most people your age never get to see up close. 5 days a week in our office in person near Waterloo St in London.
What we expect...
You’ll have significant autonomy from day one. We’ll trust you with decisions, let you run your own workstreams, and expect you to act as an extension of the founding team, not just an executor.
Within days:
- Take ownership of key top-of-funnel activities and start driving new customer conversations.
- Jump into customer calls and product demos, understanding our customers' pain points and how Diligent solves them.
- Support our trial customers, ensuring they see value quickly and move toward conversion.
Within weeks:
- Lead our outbound GTM strategy and execution, building pipelines and closing deals.
- Own the customer success function for new customers, becoming their trusted advisor.
- Test new product releases and gather customer feedback to inform product roadmap decisions.
Within months:
- Scale our commercial operations as we grow, implementing processes and systems that support sustainable growth.
- Support hiring for key early roles, helping us build out the team.
- Tackle strategic and operational challenges that come with high growth at an early-stage startup.
Experiences we look for ... at least one of the below:
- 1/2 years experience in a high-pace environment (VC backed startup, Investment Banking, Management Consulting)
- Tier 1 uni + impressive extracurricular activity
- Impressive side hustle (Did you build something - e.g. Ecom, or side business? What was it and how impactful was it?)
Characteristics we look for:
- Extremely Curious: We think curious people run the world. We love those who have an insatiable hunger for more knowledge... about the customer problems, domain knowledge, technical innovations or new ways to approaches to challenges.
- Hungry and driven: We are an early stage startup... this is hard and intense work that requires you to be ready to move fast, work hard, take bets and find solutions to problems that haven’t really been solved before. It will be intense but extremely rewarding.
- High emotional intelligence: You build trust fast, read the room well, and become a genuine partner and trusted advisor to customers and prospects.
- Structured thinker: You're numbers-driven and can think through a goal, break it down into actionable steps, and hold yourself accountable throughout the process.
- A true owner: You don't wait to be told what to do. You take full responsibility for your projects from start to finish and thrive in ambiguity, finding practical solutions without overcomplicating things.
We are seeking to make our interview as experiential as possible in order for both sides to get the most signal on what it would be like to work together.
