Position Overview:The Director, Product Marketing will own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Diligent Boards, driving positioning, messaging, product launches, market intelligence, sales enablement, pricing and packaging, and customer adoption across key segments and regions. Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) is highly valuable. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, AI/Data, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Enablement, Finance, and senior leadership to identify market opportunities, influence product strategy, and bring differentiated technology solutions to market. This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can move seamlessly between technical product detail, customer insights, commercial strategy, and compelling storytelling. Partner with Product and Engineering to understand product roadmaps, technical capabilities, integrations, data, AI functionality, and translate these into compelling customer benefits. AI & Technical Product Marketing Develop GTM strategies for AI-powered products and capabilities, translating AI/GenAI functionality into clear business value and differentiated market positioning. Build sufficient technical depth to credibly understand and communicate complex SaaS technologies, including APIs, integrations, data, automation, security, and AI capabilities. Lead Voice of Customer and market research initiatives and translate insights into actionable GTM and product recommendations. Identify opportunities across SMB and mid-market segments, including digital and product-led growth motions. Sales Enablement & Commercial Execution Equip Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement teams with compelling product narratives, competitive intelligence, technical content, battlecards, and other sales tools. Partner with Marketing and Sales on campaigns that generate demand and accelerate pipeline and revenue. Measurement & Optimization Establish KPIs to measure product marketing impact across pipeline, conversion, product adoption, expansion, and revenue. Required Experience/Skills:8+ years of B2B SaaS/product marketing experience, with significant experience in a technology company. 5+ years in product marketing or technical product marketing, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end GTM strategies. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and simplify complex SaaS, APIs, integrations, data, automation, and AI/GenAI technologies. Demonstrated experience developing AI/GenAI go-to-market strategies or marketing AI-enabled products/features. Experience marketing to SMB and/or mid-market customers, with an understanding of differentiated buying journeys and GTM motions. Strong product marketing fundamentals across positioning, messaging, launches, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and sales enablement. Experience working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and senior leadership. Strong analytical skills and ability to turn market and customer data into actionable GTM strategies. Experience in GRC, governance, risk, compliance, legal technology, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS. Experience with product-led growth (PLG), self-service, digital acquisition, or usage/adoption-driven growth models. Experience marketing products to executives, General Counsels, Corporate Secretaries, legal professionals, CIO/IT leaders, security teams, or other complex buying committees. Experience with pricing, packaging, monetization, and product-market fit initiatives.
