At Diligent, we are on a mission to help fintechs and banks automate and enhance Anti Financial Crime operations with AI agents. Leading banks and payment companies use us to automate risk investigations they run when onboarding and monitoring customers in Europe, Middle East, USA and Asia. Our founders have built fraud and AML risk solutions protecting billions in transactions at Europe's top fintechs, and we're taking that experience to revolutionize how financial institutions verify the legitimacy of their customers.

With deep expertise in AI-driven risk assessment, we automate the routine investigative workflows that fincrime compliance teams spend hours on manually, freeing them to focus on complex cases that truly require human judgment. We already work with leading fintech unicorns and banks, are growing fast and we're looking for ambitious problem-solvers who are excited about using AI to tackle financial crime at a global scale. If you're passionate about making a real impact in the fight against fincrime, we'd love to have you on our team!

THE ROLE

You'll play a crucial role in shaping the growth engine of our company - helping us shape our go-to-market strategy and executing it! As an intern in our Growth and Business operations team you'll work directly with our Cofounder and CEO on the highest priority initiatives each week. You'll lead our commercial operations and GTM strategy, support product delivery to customers, and help build the foundations of our company. This role is perfect for someone who is a hustler, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to wear multiple hats at an early-stage startup.

  • [60–70%] Growth and business development execution: Run cold calls, research target accounts, build prospect lists, write and test outbound messaging, support LinkedIn/email campaigns, track follow-ups, and help create new qualified commercial opportunities.
  • [20–30%] Market, customer, and sales intelligence research: Research fintechs, banks, PSPs, and compliance teams to understand their pain points, priorities, org structures, buying triggers, and current vendors. Turn this into useful insights for our sales strategy and messaging.
  • [10–20%] Commercial and customer support: Help prepare customer meetings, create sales materials, support follow-ups, document customer feedback, and help ensure we deliver a strong experience across prospects and existing customers.

You’ll work directly with senior leaders at banks, PSPs, and fintech unicorns, gaining access to decision-makers and industry problems that most people your age never get to see up close. 5 days a week in our office in person near Waterloo St in London.
