The Challenge

DigX delivers complex data and system migrations for some of the UK's largest Life & Pensions organisations — and we need a Business Analyst who knows the sector. We’re trusted by FTSE 100 enterprises and ambitious mid-sized firms to deliver the transformation projects that matter, specialising in the complex world of Life & Pensions where deep expertise makes all the difference.

As a Business Analyst specialising in migration and integration oversight, you’ll safeguard client interests during complex data and system migrations — acting as the key liaison between client stakeholders and delivery teams, providing governance and assurance throughout the migration lifecycle.

What You’ll Own

  • Define migration approaches, timelines, and governance frameworks in collaboration with technical and project teams.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate data mapping and perform validation checks to maintain data integrity.
  • Monitor integration activities between legacy and target platforms, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent client interests in migration planning and execution — providing clear updates and managing expectations throughout.
  • Identify migration and integration risks, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.
  • Produce migration requirement documents, data mapping specifications, and oversight reports aligned with project milestones.

You’ll Thrive Here If...

  • You have hands-on Life & Pensions experience and a strong understanding of pension products, regulatory frameworks, and operational processes — this is essential, not a bonus.
  • You have proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale migration or integration projects within financial services.
  • You can interpret data models, support validation activities, and understand system integration concepts.
  • You’re proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, and comfortable with collaboration tools like Confluence or Azure DevOps.
  • You can translate complex technical details into clear business language — for stakeholders at every level.
  • You bring strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to every engagement.

Helpful but not required:

  • Experience with auto-enrolment implementations.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and exposure to vendor management.
  • Professional certifications (BCS Business Analysis, IIBA, or similar).

Why This Role Matters

  • Life & Pensions at the core — you’ll work with clients who value deep domain knowledge alongside technical capability, on projects that genuinely transform how major financial institutions operate.
  • Remote-first, on-site when it counts — work remotely by default, with travel to our Stafford or Telford offices when being in the same room genuinely makes things better.
  • Career progression — professional development and clear pathways for growth, with a team that invests in its people.
  • Independence, not bureaucracy — we value expertise and collaboration over process for process's sake.
  • A team worth joining — regular company events and social activities, because great work deserves celebration.
