The Challenge

DigX is growing its AI capability and looking for a mid-level AI Integration Engineer to embed intelligent, Microsoft-powered solutions into the platforms we build for FTSE 100 and mid-market clients. This isn’t prototyping or proof-of-concept work — you’ll be taking AI from idea into production, using the Microsoft ecosystem as your primary toolset. You’ll work across Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and the broader Power Platform to design and deliver integrations that genuinely change how our clients operate. If you’re comfortable in the Microsoft stack, care about building things that last, and want to work on programmes that matter — this is the role.

What You’ll Own

  • Build and deploy AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Service, and Power Platform — taking ownership from design through to production.
  • Design and maintain API-driven integrations that connect AI components cleanly into client systems and data pipelines.
  • Develop automation workflows using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps that reduce manual overhead and unlock value from client data.
  • Work alongside architects and delivery leads to shape integration patterns that are scalable, governed, and fit for enterprise use.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to land AI features as part of broader transformation programmes.
  • Harden and test integrations until they’re stable at scale — you own quality, not just delivery.
  • Stay current on the Microsoft AI roadmap and bring grounded, practical recommendations into our programmes.

You’ll Thrive Here If...

  • You have hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and have built and deployed agents or assistants in a real business context.
  • You’re comfortable across the Microsoft AI stack — Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Azure integration services.
  • You understand API design and know how to build integrations that are robust, not just functional.
  • You’ve worked with Azure data services and understand how AI components sit within a broader platform architecture.
  • You can move from ambiguous requirements to working solutions without needing everything mapped out for you.
  • You communicate clearly at both technical and stakeholder level — concise, precise, and without unnecessary noise.
  • You have a pragmatic view of AI: you know when it adds value, when it doesn’t, and you’re not afraid to say so.

Why DigX

  • Microsoft-first, properly — Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Power Platform are central to how we deliver, not optional extras.
  • Real programmes, real stakes — you’ll be integrating AI into platforms that FTSE 100 and mid-market organisations depend on day to day.
  • A team that’s the right size — at 50–100 people, DigX is large enough for complex, well-resourced programmes and small enough that your work is visible and your voice matters.
  • Architecture-led delivery — experienced architects and established patterns mean you’re building on solid foundations.
  • Remote-first, on-site when it counts — the default is remote, with occasional client site visits when being in the room genuinely makes a difference.
  • Clear progression — pathways into senior engineering, integration architecture, or AI delivery leadership, with real investment in your development.
