Role Description:
As a Senior Business Analyst at DigX, you'll be at the forefront of transforming data management for one of the UK's premier long-term savings and retirement institutions. Your expertise will drive our Data Initiative, modernizing how market and asset data is processed and utilised across the organisation.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with market data vendors to gather and document complex data requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Analyse data flows and structures to recommend improvements to our data architecture and enrichment processes
- Collaborate across Market Data, Governance, and Finance teams to transform business needs into technical specifications
- Create technical documentation for asset data requirements to enable seamless system integration
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams in an Agile environment
- Lead system testing and data quality validation to ensure solutions meet business standards
- This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on enterprise-scale financial data management while working with cutting-edge technologies.
Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated expertise in market data systems and asset data management within financial services.
- Strong track record in Investment/Asset Management, with deep understanding of industry data flows, regulatory requirements, and market practices.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, including experience with data modelling, requirements gathering, and creating comprehensive technical documentation.
- Proven experience managing relationships with market data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet) and implementing vendor solutions.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to bridge technical and business teams and communicate complex requirements effectively.
- Working knowledge of data architecture principles, data governance frameworks, and modern operating models in financial services.
- Experience writing technical specifications and user stories in Agile environments, with a track record of successful project delivery alongside development teams.
