As a Residential Deputy Manager, you’ll be a trusted leader who helps create a positive, safe and fun home for adults with complex needs. You’ll support the Registered Manager to run our 8-bed service in Birmingham — planning shifts, leading your team, reviewing care plans and ensuring everyone receives the highest standard of person‑centred support. Every day is different, but the goal is the same: helping the people you support live fulfilling, independent and joyful lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the service in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Plan shifts and ensure smooth day‑to‑day running
- Support, supervise and develop staff
- Promote a safe, caring and stimulating environment
- Review care plans and manage risk in line with policies
- Participate in on‑call duties on a rota basis
- Lead by example and promote our values: Resilience, Courage, Integrity, Respect, Confidence and Innovation
