What the role involves:
As a Team Leader, you’ll combine hands‑on support with leadership responsibilities to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care for adults with complex needs. This includes:
- Leading shifts and supporting the day‑to‑day running of the home
- Supporting adults with daily living, routines, community access, and independence goals
- Guiding and motivating the team to deliver the best possible outcomes
- Supporting care plans, risk assessments, medication, and record keeping
- Working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to maintain high standards
- Providing guidance, support, and direction to Support Workers on shift
- Delegating tasks and leading by example
- Supporting staff development and carrying out supervisions when required
- Deputising for management when needed
- Ensuring the home remains safe, welcoming, and well managed
- Managing incidents appropriately and following safeguarding procedures at all times
Working pattern:
This service operates 24/7. You will work any 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays where required. Flexibility is important, as the needs of the people we support can vary day to day.
