We are seeking a Team Leader to join our exceptional team based in Coventry. We need someone with the passion and determination to go the extra mile to create a home that everyone truly deserves. This includes creating a space brimming with activity, new experiences, and, most importantly, fun and laughter.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and adhere to the workplace values of Dignus Group (Resilience, Courage, Integrity, Respect, Confidence and Innovation)
- Provide supervisory control and direction in relation to staff duties and responsibilities
- Take responsibility for planning shifts and ensuring the smooth running of the service
- Contribute to team and staff meetings to facilitate and encourage good communication and staff development
- Assist with recruitment and retention of staff including induction training for all new team members
- Supervision of new starters during their probationary period to ensure they receive the best in class support
- Undertake supervisions, addressing performance issues and identifying training and development needs
- Promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of each Person we Support
- Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with the People we Support
- Manage behaviour positively and assertively by working in line with specified care and risk assessment management plans
- A desire to learn, we provide training and apprenticeships for you to achieve your full potential
- Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check at enhanced level
- A good standard of written and verbal English
- Proven experience of supporting adults or young people
