We're looking for compassionate individuals to join our team on a casual basis, supporting families during funeral services and behind the scenes. It's flexible work you can build around other commitments., You'll be part of a team delivering every service with dignity and respect - ideal if you're looking to work occasionally, especially during peak periods or when extra ceremonial support is needed.
- Assisting at funeral services: bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mourners.
- Driving and operating specialist vehicles such as hearses and limousines.
- Representing Dignity Funeral Directors with professionalism and empathy.
- Providing respectful, discreet support to families on the day.
- Maintaining ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct and service delivery.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Compassionate, empathetic and professional.
- Understands the importance of presentation and discretion.
- Physically capable of manual handling, including lifting and carrying.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible, including short-notice availability.
- Comfortable with direct contact with the deceased.
