What You'll Be Doing
As a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues across the organisation, you'll provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, helping to minimise risk while delivering practical, people-focused solutions.
- Managing employee relations casework from start to finish, including investigations, hearings and outcomes.
- Advising and coaching managers on performance, probation and employee relations matters.
- Supporting the delivery of people initiatives through data, insights and reporting.
- Delivering and supporting people management training across the business.
- Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and wider People team.
- Supporting the delivery of a positive people agenda throughout the employee lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines robust employee relations expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills and a genuine passion for helping people succeed.
- Proven experience managing employee relations casework and advising managers on a wide range of ER matters.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, policy interpretation and procedural fairness.
- Experience coaching and influencing managers to achieve positive people outcomes.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
- Experience using HR systems and data to support decision-making.
- Adaptable, resilient and comfortable managing challenging conversations.
- CIPD Level 5 (or above), or equivalent experience.
