Purpose of the Role:
This role delivers probate and estate administration services by managing a caseload of non-complex matters, developing deeper legal expertise , and supporting senior colleagues on complex estates.
The Junior Case Manager balances compassionate client care during sensitive periods with operational efficiency and legal accuracy .
Performance Measures:
- Case Progression & Throughput: Case completion rates and progression efficiency across non-complex matters .
- Documentation & Application Accuracy: Accuracy of probate applications, IHT forms, and estate accounts .
- Client Satisfaction: Positive CSAT/NPS feedback and empathetic client communications during sensitive life events.
- Compliance & Quality Standards: Adherence to internal SLA targets, compliance protocols, and legal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Casework: Manage a caseload of non-complex probate and estate administration matters under supervision.
- Asset & Liability Gathering: Obtain asset and liability details from financial institutions, utilities, and third parties.
- Application & Document Preparation: Prepare probate applications, Inheritance Tax (IHT) forms, estate accounts, and routine legal correspondence. xgikmsk
