About The Role

As a Learning & Development Trainer, you’ll design and deliver impactful training programmes to help colleagues confidently use new systems and develop professionally. You’ll play a key role in embedding FireHawk—our new operational platform—while also driving a positive learning culture across a highly diverse, field-based workforce. You’ll work closely with our IT Training Manager, operational teams, and stakeholders at all levels, delivering both in-person and remote training interventions throughout the UK. We aim to deliver two training sessions per day and each training hub assignment will last approximately 6-8 weeks before moving to the next regional location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, role-relevant training sessions on the FireHawk system and other business-critical tools.
  • Support the design of instructional content tailored to different job functions and digital skill levels.
  • Facilitate the roll-out of training schedules across multiple regions, ensuring consistent and timely delivery.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and support to employees post-training to reinforce learning.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure training aligns with operational and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement of training materials and methods.

What Success Looks Like

  • Staff feel confident and competent using the Firehawk system.
  • Positive feedback is received from training sessions.
  • High levels of engagement and participation are maintained throughout.
  • Administrators are equipped to support colleagues and manage system setup independently.

What We’re Looking For

  • A UK Driving License holder who has access to their own vehicle.
  • Proven experience in delivering effective IT and systems training within operational or customer-facing environments.
  • Confident facilitating training for groups at all levels, with a people-first, empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable travelling UK-wide with occasional overnight stays.
  • Adaptable and resilient with the ability to tailor training for various learning styles and abilities.
  • Experience in rolling out CRM or other enterprise systems is highly desirable.

What We Provide To You (Pro-rata Basis)

  • £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
  • £4,000 Annual Car Allowance.
  • 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.
  • Pension Scheme 4% matched.
  • Life Assurance X2 annual salary.
  • Free On-Site Parking at many sites UK-wide.
  • Access to our internal apprentice & personal development schemes.

If you’re ready to play a key role in supporting colleagues through meaningful change and helping shape the future of funeral care, we’d love to hear from you!
