Salary: £13.40 per hour We're looking for compassionate individuals to join our team on a casual basis, supporting families during funeral services and behind the scenes.
This flexible opportunity is ideal for those who want to make a difference in their community while working around other commitments.
The Role You'll be part of a team that ensures every service is delivered with dignity and respect.
This position is well-suited to individuals who are looking to work occasionally and contribute in a meaningful way, especially during peak periods or when extra ceremonial support is required.
Assisting at funeral services, bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mourners.
Representing Dignity Funerals with professionalism and empathy.
Providing respectful, discreet support to families on the day of the service.
Maintaining ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct, and service delivery.
Holds a Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
Is physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying.
Is reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including short-notice availability.
No previous experience in funeral care is required; full training and uniform will be provided.
