As an Employee Relations Advisor, you'll play a vital role in helping managers navigate people matters confidently, fairly and consistently, whilst ensuring we deliver an outstanding colleague experience across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR or ER professional who enjoys building strong relationships, solving complex people challenges and influencing positive outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • As a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues across the organisation, you'll provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, helping to minimise risk while delivering practical, people-focused solutions.
  • Managing employee relations casework from start to finish, including investigations, hearings and outcomes.
  • Advising and coaching managers on performance, probation and employee relations matters.
  • Supporting the delivery of people initiatives through data, insights and reporting.
  • Delivering and supporting people management training across the business.
  • Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and wider People team.
  • Supporting the delivery of a positive people agenda throughout the employee lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience managing employee relations casework and advising managers on a wide range of ER matters.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, policy interpretation and procedural fairness.
  • Experience coaching and influencing managers to achieve positive people outcomes.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
  • Experience using HR systems and data to support decision-making.
  • Adaptable, resilient and comfortable managing challenging conversations.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or above), or equivalent experience.
