About The Business:

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most credentialed technology firms in the UK. Holding a prestigious triple accreditation that very few firms globally achieve, this business delivers services to clients across financial services, healthcare, government, and legal sectors. All teams are UK based.

The business is at an exciting point in its growth, continuing to win new clients while building the operational foundations for its next phase of growth. This is a newly created role sitting at the heart of the business, with a clear brief: make sure the business runs as efficiently as the services it delivers.

The Role:

You'll work closely with the founder and have a dotted line into all teams across the business. You'll be the person who spots the gaps, builds the processes, chases the loose ends, and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be someone who takes ownership, enjoys getting things organised, and loves seeing the results of making things work better.

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Process design and optimisation: Review current processes and make improvements, create workflows and SOPs that help the business scale.
  • Founder support: working closely with the founder on day to day operations with visibility into the wider teams.
  • Cross team coordination: acting as a central point of contact across delivery, sales, and technical teams to keep things moving, covering client administration, contracts, proposals, and general administrative support where needed.
  • Credit control and invoice management: keeping on top of client billing, following up on payments, and making sure everything is settled on time.
  • Onboarding and offboarding coordination: managing the internal logistics when people join or leave, making sure equipment, system access, and induction processes are handled.
  • Supplier and vendor management: owning relationships with suppliers and third party service providers, including renewals and cost reviews.
  • Tooling and systems ownership: Internal systems, CRM, communication platforms and making sure the team are getting the most out of them.
  • Reporting and business metrics: building and maintaining a regular reporting cadence so the founder has clear visibility on operational health.
  • Office and facilities management: owning the day to day running of the Leeds office, including lease administration, health and safety compliance, and facilities.
  • Travel and logistics coordination: organising travel arrangements for the team including trains, hotels, and accommodation.
  • Client onboarding administration: owning the handoff process between sales and delivery when a new client is won, making sure contracts go out, kickoff calls are scheduled, and any client portals or systems are set up without delay.
  • Event and conference coordination: managing the logistics around industry events and conferences, including speaker submissions, bookings, and team attendance for events across the monthly calendar.

What you'll bring:

  • A highly organised approach with a strong eye for detail and a genuine enjoyment of building structure.
  • Proven experience designing and improving business processes, including creating workflows and SOPs.
  • An effective communicator who can work across all levels of the business, proactive and confident making recommendations without needing to be guided.
  • Clear evidence of delivering operational improvements that have had a measurable impact on business efficiency.
  • A background in business operations in a professional services or technical environment.
  • Experience with credit control or managing client accounts.
  • Previous experience in a business support and operations role.
