Lead Java Developer in Test – QA/ Mobile Testing / Backend Testing / Automation
Fully remote – EU
€60-65k + Bonus & benefits (B2B Preferred)
I am currently partnered with an exciting FinTech that seek a Lead Java Developer in Test. You will get the opportunity to grow and lead the QA function across all of the backend, frontend, and mobile platforms. This is a very hands on technical leadership role where you\’ll drive the QA strategy, manage a team of 3 testers, and work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads.
Responsibilities
- Drive QA strategy across backend, frontend, and mobile platforms
- Lead a team of testers (currently 3) and mentor their development
- Hands-on technical leadership in QA activities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to align quality goals
Tech Experience
- Strong understanding of backend testing (Java)
- Frontend testing experience (web applications)
- Mobile testing knowledge (iOS and Android)
- CI/CD pipeline management and test integration
- Test automation strategy and implementation
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Team leading / people management and team development capabilities
- Previous start-up or scale-up experience
- Ideally 5+ years as a senior QA engineer with strong technical background
