We are hiring for a Workplace Technology Engineer to join a leading investment management firm in London as they bring their IT operations fully back in house. You will be part of a collaborative end user tech team supporting over 360 employees across multiple global offices. This is a hands on engineering role with a strong focus on endpoint design, automation, and employee training. The role is hybrid with three to four days in the office each week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert level support across Windows, Microsoft 365, and endpoint technologies including desktops, mobile, and collaboration platforms.
- Design and implement new solutions that reduce first line support tickets and improve the employee experience.
- Manage Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft Entra across deployment, configuration, compliance, and SSO integrations.
- Support and maintain video conferencing systems including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, and Yealink.
- Create user friendly guides, run workshops, and provide in person support to non technical users.
- Implement and maintain device security controls including encryption, MFA, and compliance policies.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and contribute ideas for improving performance and user satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows 10 and 11, M365, and Active Directory.
- Confident troubleshooting across Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Office 365 environments.
- Experience setting up SSO and conditional access using Entra ID, Azure, SAML, or SCIM.
- Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and hardware such as Teams Rooms, Zoom, and Yealink.
- Comfortable with PowerShell or other scripting tools to support automation and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support users of all levels.
- A proactive and solutions focused mindset with a genuine interest in workplace technology.
