North Leeds - 3 days per week in the office

Salary – Up to £60,000

We are working with a smart technology company that drives innovation within the energy sector, creating solutions across software, hardware, and cloud services to unlock the power of customer data insights.

The client ideally requires a designer who operates at a 60-70% UX capacity, with deep expertise in UX strategy and research in addition to UI. You will be reporting to the CTO and working closely with the Industrial Design, Product Management and Product Marketing teams. You will be a key player in driving improvements to products and processes where problems often cut across different areas with little precedent.

The designer will lead and deliver complex UX projects across the B2B and B2B2C portfolios of end-to-end, including device and software solutions, with a core emphasis on building out the UX and UI competencies in our software engineering team.

Experience needed:
  • User Journey & Experience Architecture: Proven experience in mapping complex end-to-end user journeys. You can take a high-level business requirement and translate it into a logical flow that accounts for happy paths, edge cases, and error states.
  • Proven Design Delivery: Demonstrated track record of delivering UX projects independently, producing Figma and Adobe XD designs, and working with developers as they deliver those designs.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of responsive web design and mobile-specific patterns (iOS and Android), ensuring layouts work seamlessly across all device sizes.
