Job Description
As an Associate Strategy Director, you will be in a client-dedicated role within a team focused on supporting our clients marketing transformation and driving commercial impact. You will be a senior contributor within the Commercial and Brand strategy community, and you will also be part of vibrant and ambitious strategic communities within Digitas Health and the whole Publicis Health family.
This is a high-impact, exciting role suited to a confident modern marketer, motivated by working across silos, and able to help clients focus on and solve key business questions in a matrixed, data-fueled environment.
Core responsibilities:
- Act as a consultant and guide to the client brand teams, confidently challenging their business and activation plans to help drive results
- Guide and develop commercial, brand and marketing strategies for assigned brands, as well as communications and POE strategies
- Be an oncology expert, with a view on changes within oncology and helping clients find new opportunities for growth
- Provide analysis of large quantities of information and organize that information into easy to understand insights and evidence
- Develop creative briefs to inform creative solutioning and ideation, and working with agency colleagues to create exciting ideas
- Define measurement strategies and KPIs for clients including test-and-learn/optimisation recommendations
- Structure and lead workshops with cross functional teams, creating project plans with clear deliverables and outputs
- Provide a POV on tools, processes and frameworks that drive consistency in delivering growth plans across multiple markets
- Work both regionally across the assigned market clusters, and locally within the cluster.
- Understand and identify high-growth opportunities in market, and act as strategic partner to power local and cross-market advantage
- Guide and oversee the output of other strategists working on assigned brands
Qualifications
We are looking for a commercially-minded strategist. The ideal candidate will have a mix of commercial, brand and CX strategy experience with pharmaceutical clients, and understanding of category dynamics within Oncology.
You should have:
- Proven Pharma experience at both the consumer and HCP level
- Strong oncology experience, with a track record of success and making positive impact for clients
- Preferably you will have worked in a matrix organisation across network agencies, helping remote-based clients and worked across regional-to-local tiers
- Extensive related strategy and/or planning experience, covering commercial, brand and customer experience
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, comfortable working with ambiguity and in grey areas, and enjoys being at the intersection of media, data, technology, and creativity. You work well in a team but also enjoy individual responsibility. You are looking to create a strong, unique impression within client and agency teams.
