AWS Blockchain Architect / Developer | London
We are seeking an experienced AWS Blockchain Architect / Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade cloud and blockchain solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, blockchain platforms, microservices architecture, API integrations, cloud-native applications, and modern full-stack development frameworks.
This role requires a hands-on technology leader capable of architecting scalable digital platforms, leading development teams, and supporting enterprise transformation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, solution architects, and clients to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions leveraging AWS, blockchain technologies, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern DevOps practices.
The successful candidate should have extensive experience in enterprise application architecture, integration platforms, cloud modernization, and digital transformation programs while providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud & Blockchain Architecture
- Design and implement enterprise-scale blockchain solutions hosted on AWS cloud platforms.
- Architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native applications.
- Lead blockchain-based solution design and implementation for enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for cloud and blockchain environments.
- Evaluate emerging blockchain and cloud technologies to improve business capabilities.
Application Development & Microservices
- Design and develop modern applications using MEAN and MERN stack technologies.
- Build scalable microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot, Node.js, and containerized environments.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and enterprise integration services.
- Implement event-driven and serverless architectures using AWS services.
- Support application modernization and migration initiatives.
API & Integration Management
- Design and implement enterprise API strategies using MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, AWS API Gateway, and Azure API Management.
- Build secure and scalable integration frameworks across multiple enterprise systems.
- Ensure API security, governance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Support hybrid cloud and multi-platform integration requirements.
- Lead API lifecycle management and integration architecture initiatives.
Cloud-Native & DevOps Engineering
- Implement cloud-native architectures using AWS and Azure PaaS services.
- Design serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and managed cloud services.
- Lead CI/CD implementation and DevOps automation initiatives.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation frameworks.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Digital Transformation & Consulting
- Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and technology requirements.
- Provide consulting and advisory services for cloud adoption and digital transformation programs.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Proof of Technologies (PoTs), technical assessments, and architecture reviews.
- Develop technical proposals, solution blueprints, and customer presentations.
- Participate in strategic planning and technology roadmap discussions.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and engineering teams.
- Drive architecture reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Support business development activities through solutioning and proposal development.
- Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, frameworks, and intellectual property initiatives.
