Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our thriving primary school. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessing a class of students, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers, who will receive exceptional support through our extensive induction and mentoring programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with a knowledge-led curriculum
- Inspire and motivate children through innovative and creative learning approaches
- Set high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect and curiosity
- Collaborate within a year group team, sharing ideas, planning and best practices
- Embrace and uphold the school’s ethos, vision and values
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience (or ECT placement experience) within an educational setting
- Ability to plan, teach, and assess effectively
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to undertake induction training and further qualifications as required
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education
