Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic Design and Technology lessons that inspire and engage students.
- Teach students about Food, Textiles, and Resistant Materials
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and assistance.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the overall student experience.
- Lead the Food Technology department, ensuring high standards in curriculum delivery and staff development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching Design and Technology or a similar subject.
- Extensive knowledge of technology, nutrition, and current industry trends.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to motivating and inspiring students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
