About the Job:

As our new SMS Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing clinical care packages, phlebotomy, assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patient care, including venepuncture and tissue viability.
  • Supporting the SMS Nursing team in delivering medication and care to substance misuse patients.
  • Primarily working within the clinical substance misuse team, with potential duties in the primary care team.
  • Supporting registered nurses in patient care, following instructions and training, promoting safe patient care, and developing new skills to enhance clinical service delivery.
