Are you a caring, compassionate and cheerful person with lots to give? Join us as our new Health Care Assistant at Leger Grove care home in Doncaster. As a Health Care Assistant, you’ll support adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives. Leger Grove care home is set to open in 2025, offering you a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new team in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built home. This is your chance to truly make an impact! Exemplar Health Care operates many homes rated ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ more often than the national average.
Leger Grove is part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading nursing care provider. When open, Leger Grove will support adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities. Although the home is set to open in 2025, you’ll begin a tailored induction one month prior. This preparation includes learning about the company, meeting colleagues and completing training, so you’re ready when the home officially opens. We stay in touch via email or WhatsApp with regular updates on progress. We offer stable, secure employment opportunities, great benefits and ample opportunities to learn, develop and progress.
Responsibilities
- supporting people with their personal care
- assisting people at meal times
- understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
- encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
- promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
- completing and maintaining care records
- working with higher-than-average staffing levels to spend more time with the people you support
