We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Coordinator (Revit MEP) to join our expanding team in Liverpool. Reporting to the BIM Director,you will take a leading role in the delivery of coordinated Stage 4 and Stage 5 BIM projects, supporting internal teams and working closely withclients, consultants, and contractors.
This role is suited to someone who can manage projects independently, lead BIM coordination processes, carry out clash detection and resolutionusing Navisworks, and drive quality across models and deliverables. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing technicians andjunior coordinators, while maintaining strong control of project information through Common Data Environments (CDEs).
Key responsibilities
- Lead BIM coordination across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality model delivery aligned with programme and project requirements.
- Carry out clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution using Navisworks Manage and agreed project workflows.
- Manage and maintain coordinated Revit MEP models and federated model outputs, ensuring compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project standards.
- Produce and review Stage 5 coordinated models and detailed construction information, ensuring buildable, accurate MEP detailing and coordinated solutions.
- Independently manage project deliverables, prioritising workload and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Engage directly with clients, design teams, and contractors, acting as a key point of contact for BIM-related queries and coordination.
- Attend and lead BIM workshops, coordination meetings, and design reviews, representing the company professionally.
- Review and sign off models/drawings prior to issue, ensuring quality, consistency, and technical accuracy.
- Manage project documentation and model exchange through CDEs, ensuring correct version control, approvals, and information status.
- Support planning, resourcing, and reporting, highlighting risks and programme impacts early.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on best practice modelling, coordination, and detailing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of company standards, templates, QA processes, and BIM workflows.

Essential skills & experience
- Strong experience using Revit MEP in a coordination-focused role
- Proven experience using Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination
- Excellent understanding of clash workflows, issue management and reporting
- Strong Stage 5 coordination and detailing knowledge
- Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish
- Confident client engagement and professional meeting presence

- Experience working within CDEs and maintaining robust version control
Qualifications
- ONC/HNC (or higher) in a relevant engineering or construction discipline (preferred)
