We\’re looking for a Web Developer to join the Technology Team at a creative agency in London. You’ll play a key role in transforming complex client challenges into exceptional digital experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers, Designers, and Back-End Developers to take ideas from early concept through to fully realised websites, applications, and digital tools.
Your day-to-day work will involve planning, building, testing, and launching high‑quality user experiences. You’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of live projects, and help shape the evolving approach to front-end standards. A passion for craft, usability, and accessibility is essential.
Development Experience
- 3–5 years experience in web development
- Experience with design systems, pattern libraries, and component architectures
- Commercial experience with WordPress
- Front-end integration with APIs (REST, GraphQL), JSON handling, and AJAX
- Version control proficiency, ideally Git
- Awareness of backend workflows (e.g., PHP)
Responsibilities
- To deliver high‑quality, secure technical solutions using the team’s established languages, processes, and principles
- Contribute to team standards and help evolve front-end guidelines, processes, and tooling
- Maintain code quality across shared codebases through best practices and consistent standards
- Report on progress and support Project Managers and Client Directors in demonstrating project impact, including at QBRs
- Support estimation and scoping by advising on feasibility, risks, effort, and technical approach
