£220 per day | Contract | Immediate Start We are currently recruiting experienced data cabling engineers and structured cabling engineers for ongoing contract work in West Midlands. This role suits skilled data cablers, network cabling engineers, and telecoms engineers with strong commercial installation experience. Key Responsibilities Installation of structured data cabling systems in commercial environments Termination and installation of Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling Fibre optic cabling including pulling, terminating, and testing (splicing advantageous) Installation and dressing of data cabinets, racks, patch panels, and containment systems Testing, labelling, and fault finding using Fluke or equivalent testers Working from technical drawings, schematics, and site specifications Working on offices, education buildings, laboratories, warehouses, and data centre projects Essential Requirements Proven experience as a data cabling engineer or structured cabling engineer Strong background in network cabling, telecoms, and low-voltage installations Valid CSCS card or ECS card Own data cabling tools, testers, and full PPE Ability to work independently and as part of a site team Good understanding of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA) Desirable (Not Essential) IPAF and/or PASMA certification Fibre splicing experience Commercial, industrial, or data centre cabling experience Job Details Location: West Midlands Rate: £220 per day Contract type: Contract / Freelance / CIS / LTD Hours: 8-9 hours per day Duration: Ongoing / long-term work available Start date: Immediate Apply Now Please send your CV or data cabling work history along with contact details
