Job Title: Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £50k -£55k

We’re looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology- driven business and play a key role in managing and improving their IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on role covering Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Hyper-V, with responsibility for both day-to-day operations and long-term projects.

The Role

-Administer and support Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V, and Azure environments

-Monitor and optimise network/server performance, security, and backups

-Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Microsoft and Linux systems

-Provide 3rd line support and guidance to the wider IT team

-Liaise with vendors and implement system upgrades and improvements

About You

-Strong experience with Microsoft and virtualisation technologies

-Knowledge of SANs, networking, and Office 365

Experience with Sonicwall & Intune

-Good understanding of IT security protocols and compliance

-Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell desirable)

-CCNA Certification (MCSE advantageous)
