A leading creative studio specialising in sport, broadcast and live events is hiring a Senior Motion Designer to work across some of the world’s biggest sporting and entertainment productions. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected creative team delivering motion graphics seen by millions across major broadcasters, global sporting events and premium entertainment productions. You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery, combining exceptional motion design skills with strong creative leadership.
Role: Senior Motion Designer
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Location: Richmond, London (4 days per week onsite, 1 day remote)
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead motion design projects from initial concept through to final delivery
- Create engaging concepts, style frames, storyboards and motion graphics packages
- Design titles, branding, broadcast graphics and on-screen packages for sport and entertainment productions
- Work directly with clients to understand briefs, develop creative solutions and present ideas
- Take ownership of project quality, timelines and delivery standards
- Collaborate with designers, producers and wider creative teams across multiple projects
- Mentor and support junior designers within the studio
- Deliver high-quality creative work within fast-paced production environments and tight deadlines
What you’ll need:
- Strong commercial experience as a Motion Designer, including experience operating at Senior level
- Background within broadcast, television, sport, film, live events or entertainment industries
- Excellent motion design, typography and visual storytelling skills
- Advanced knowledge of After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong Cinema 4D skills with experience using Redshift and/or Octane
- Experience leading projects and working directly with clients
- Strong understanding of design principles, branding and animation techniques
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial and production requirements
Nice to have:
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Blender, X-Particles or Nuke
- Passion for sport and live event production
- Experience creating graphics packages for major sporting events or broadcasters
