Job Description
A specialist interiors firm is hiring a Senior Estimator to support its luxury residential and commercial projects. This is a technical and commercially focused role for someone with strong experience in stonework, bespoke finishes, and high-end fit-outs.
You’ll work closely with architects, suppliers, and project teams to deliver accurate estimates and support procurement across a range of custom interior projects.
Role: Senior Estimator
Salary: Up to £60,000, dependent on experience + performance incentives
Location: North London – Office and Client-based
What you’ll be doing:
- Estimate and price detailed stonework from architectural drawings and CAD designs
- Manage material take-offs, quantity sheets, and procurement planning
- Source competitive pricing from UK and international suppliers
- Use estimating software (CostX, Bluebeam, or similar) to prepare accurate quotes
- Support tender submissions and follow-up on opportunities
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
- Lead pricing for high-end residential and commercial interiors
- Negotiate and secure orders while building strong supplier relationships
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in stonework, interiors, or construction
- Strong understanding of natural stone, quartz, and solid surface materials
- Confident in reading and interpreting CAD drawings
- Proficient in estimating software (CostX, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in luxury residential and commercial fit-out projects
