We’re looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology-driven business and play a key role in managing and improving their IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on role covering Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Hyper-V, with responsibility for both day-to-day operations and long-term projects.
The Role
- Administer and support Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V, and Azure environments
- Monitor and optimise network/server performance, security, and backups
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Microsoft and Linux systems
- Provide 3rd line support and guidance to the wider IT team
- Liaise with vendors and implement system upgrades and improvements
About You
- Strong experience with Microsoft and virtualisation technologies
- Knowledge of SANs, networking, and Office 365
- Good understanding of IT security protocols and compliance
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell desirable)
- CCNA Certification needed, (MCSE advantageous)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
