I'm partnering with an innovative AI-driven technology company that is building mission-critical infrastructure to solve complex real-world challenges at scale. They are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design, build and scale the core platform powering next-generation AI products. What you'll be working on:
- Designing and building scalable backend services and APIs
- Collaborating closely with Machine Learning teams to productionise AI capabilities
- Driving reliability, observability, performance and security across the platform
- Influencing architecture and technical strategy within a growing engineering team
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience building backend systems in production environments
- Strong Python and/or TypeScript experience
- Distributed systems and microservices architecture
- AWS cloud infrastructure
- API development (REST, GraphQL and/or gRPC)
- Docker, Kubernetes, ECS or similar container technologies
- Strong database and system design knowledge
- Experience owning projects from design through to production
Nice to have:
- Experience working in regulated environments
