We're currently supporting a growing technology business that is looking to engage an experienced Data Analyst on a fully remote contract basis. This role will suit someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable working with large datasets to deliver meaningful insights that support business decision-making. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, helping transform complex data into clear, actionable reporting and visualisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data
- Support data integration and migration activities
- Work with ETL processes to ensure accurate and reliable data flows
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Analyst
- Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to query and manipulate large datasets
- Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines
- Experience working with Databricks from an analytical perspective (querying, analysing and consuming data rather than building engineering solutions)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Desirable:
- Experience supporting data migration or integration projects
- Background within SaaS, technology, telecommunications, or data-driven organisations
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms
