We're now looking for an experienced Account Director to join a digital agency, taking ownership of a portfolio of clients including large global B2B PLCs and well-known UK educational institutions. This role is all about understanding briefs, strategy, and genuinely creative output. Role: Account Director

Salary: Up to £50k starting salary + Bonus

Location: Hybrid - Leicester with remote working

The role:

  • Working alongside the MD and Strategy Director on the agency's flagship account
  • Leading two further large accounts as the senior client contact
  • Line managing a Senior Project Manager and a Marketing Executive
  • Setting account strategy, spotting growth opportunities, and building strong long-term client relationships
  • Owning financial performance — profitability, utilisation, recoverability, and fee negotiation
  • Evaluating briefs, writing proposals, pitching new business
  • Joining the operational board, with a route to becoming more senior within the organisation
  • Running projects across digital and non-digital: websites, digital campaigns, and brand programmes

About you:

  • Experience operating at Account Director level
  • Strong B2B background
  • Comfortable leading strategy in a senior client meeting
  • You grow accounts by understanding the client's business well enough to show them what's possible
  • You're commercially sharp, well-organised, and you lead a team by example
