The Role

We’re currently recruiting for a First Line Support / Junior Application Support Analyst to join an in-house IT team based in Guildford. This role is ideal for someone with foundational IT support experience who is eager to develop further in application and technical support. You’ll be the first point of contact for internal IT queries and gain hands-on experience with bespoke applications, hardware support, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and access issues.
  • Support bespoke internal applications and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Assist users in navigating and making effective use of internal systems.
  • Set up and relocate hardware including computers, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Liaise with external IT service providers and software vendors.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on IT procedures and solutions.

About You:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT support role or 2 years’ office-based experience with a recognised IT qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
