The role
We are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a dynamic software and support team based in Inverness.
While the role is primarily office-based, occasional travel to client sites will be required, so having your own transport is essential. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas and a commitment to high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support across various client needs, from troubleshooting to project management.
- This role also involves participating in a mandatory out-of-hours rota (one week/weekend every two months, 7 am – 8 pm).
- Configure and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
- Build, deploy, and maintain hardware, including configuring RAID, iDRAC, and OS deployment.
- Manage advanced networking setups, including VLANs, VPNs (IPsec and SSL), and wireless access points.
- Administer and manage Microsoft Azure and Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, migrations).
- Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate tasks.
- Utilize Hyper-V for virtualization and replication.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of IT support experience.
- Outstanding customer-facing skills and a professional, calm demeanor.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 administration.
- Expertise in networking, including routers, switches, and VPNs.
- Experience with server installations, migrations, and maintenance.
