Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, commercially aware, and highly organised Bid & Sales Operations Specialist to support our sales and account management teams. This role is critical in driving growth by coordinating high-quality tender responses, improving sales operations, and enabling the team to deliver a polished, consistent, and efficient sales experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving sales environment, enjoys managing processes end-to-end, and takes pride in accuracy and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities
Tender & Bid Coordination- Identify and evaluate suitable tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires to respond to.
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of all bid responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand standards.
- Maintain and continuously improve a central library of proposal content, case studies, and assets.
- Work with technical and delivery teams to gather timely and accurate input for proposals.
- Leverage AI-based tender tools or other systems to streamline bid preparation and enhance response quality.
- Maintain version control and ensure continuous improvement in tender processes and materials.
- Prepare pricing, quotes, statements of work, and proposals in line with sales strategy.
- Maintain CRM data accuracy, including contact details, activity logs, and pipeline stages.
- Assist in developing and refining sales processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and reporting.
- Generate dashboards, sales reports, and performance metrics for leadership review.
- Support account managers with partner engagement, co-selling, and account mapping strategies.
- Work closely with Marketing, Channel, and Technical teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, and prospects to gather necessary information and ensure a seamless sales experience.
- Act as a point of contact for bid-related queries, providing guidance and support to the wider team.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential- 3+ years' experience in bid/proposal coordination or response management.
- 2+ years' experience in inside sales or sales operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable improving and documenting processes for operational efficiency.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and standard office productivity tools.
- Full UK driving licence and entitlement to work in the UK.
- Experience working for IT vendors, MSPs, cyber security vendors, or MSSPs.
- Knowledge of cyber security services, solutions, and partner ecosystems.
- Experience in co-selling strategies, account mapping, or partner engagement.
- Cyber security certification (e.g., ISC2).
