With a strong e-commerce presence and ambitious digital roadmap, they’re now investing in a dedicated specialist to lead technical SEO performance across their platforms.

This is a hybrid role, with 1–2 days per week in their Birmingham office and flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. The salary range is between £45,000 & £55,000 per annum.

You’ll lead the technical side of SEO, working across site architecture, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and more. Partnering with internal developers and marketing teams, you’ll ensure the business continues to scale its visibility, traffic, and performance through best-in-class search practices.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working across teams, and delivering real, measurable impact in a high-volume e-commerce setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out deep-dive technical SEO audits and implement scalable improvements
  • Optimise crawlability, internal linking structure, and indexation strategy
  • Own structured data markup, canonical tags, and on-site technical hygiene
  • Monitor and improve performance across Core Web Vitals and mobile UX
  • Collaborate with developers to embed SEO into platform updates and fixes
  • Analyse organic performance through GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, etc.
  • Keep ahead of search engine updates and evolving best practices

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in a retail or consumer e-commerce setting
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO principles and modern web performance standards
  • Experience with Magento 2 or similar large-scale CMS platforms is a strong plus
  • Analytical and methodical mindset, comfortable using SEO and analytics tools
  • Comfortable taking ownership of SEO strategy and implementation

Why Apply?

  • Make a direct, visible impact on a fast-scaling e-commerce platform
  • Hybrid working from a well-connected Birmingham location
  • A broad and autonomous role with lots of ownership
  • Friendly, commercially driven team with ambitious growth goals

If you’re a technically focused SEO professional ready to take ownership in a high-performing online retail environment - this could be your ideal next step.
