I'm currently partnering with a well-funded, product-led technology company that is solving highly complex operational challenges through AI, automation, and modern software engineering. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, high-performing team responsible for designing, building, and operating mission-critical systems used at scale. This isn't a role where you'll spend your time building simple CRUD applications or working from a long list of tickets. They're looking for engineers who enjoy tackling difficult technical problems, making architectural decisions, and owning systems from concept through to production.
What you'll be working on:
- Building scalable backend services in Python
- Designing distributed systems that are reliable, observable, and fault tolerant
- Developing APIs and services that power core platform functionality
- Contributing to architecture, engineering standards, and technical strategy
- Improving performance, scalability, and operational resilience
- Working closely with a highly experienced, remote-first engineering team
