Cloud Support Engineer position for a client based in Shropshire. This hybrid role offers two days in the office and three from home.
Responsibilities
- Own and resolve infrastructure helpdesk tickets
- Build and maintain cloud environments with Terraform and Ansible
- Troubleshoot Azure and AWS (VMs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, Backup Vaults)
- Support software releases with the DevOps team
- Automate deployments and improve processes
- Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS)
- Document fixes and share knowledge
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS
- Strong Terraform and Ansible skills
- Knowledge of cloud networking, Windows, and Active Directory
- Ability to explain complex issues simply
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira) and support workflows
- Awareness of cloud security best practices
Bonus: SQL Server, SMTP, IIS, CI/CD pipelines, and an interest in AI
