About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Test & Inspect Electrician to join our growing team in Guildford. The successful candidate will carry out electrical testing, inspection, and remedial works across commercial and industrial premises, ensuring compliance with current electrical standards and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic inspection and testing (EICRs) on commercial and industrial installations.
  • Diagnose and carry out remedial electrical works following inspection reports.
  • Complete all relevant certification and documentation accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and company safety policies.
  • Liaise with clients and office teams to report findings and complete work efficiently.
  • Maintain company van, tools, and test equipment to a high standard.

Requirements

  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection within commercial or industrial environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
