My client are looking for a Cloud Operations Team Leader to manage their cloud environment, ensuring performance, availability, and security. You’ll lead a team of engineers, drive automation, enforce governance best practices, and support development teams through strong CI/CD infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategy with execution.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee daily cloud operations—monitoring, incident response, optimisation
- Lead and plan projects using Agile methods
- Implement cloud governance, security, and compliance policies
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, AI-first approach)
- Support development teams with CI/CD pipelines
- Manage cloud costs and performance using monitoring tools (FinOps)
- Mentor and develop cloud engineers
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ hands-on AWS experience
- Strong IaC and configuration management skills (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub)
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and cloud projects
- Expertise in monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices
- Experience with CI/CD workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
