An established and fast-growing ecommerce business, specialising across multiple sectors, is looking for a Power BI / SQL Developer to enhance their analytics capability as part of an ambitious digital growth plan.

Operating globally across major marketplaces (such as Amazon and eBay) and their own successful D2C brands, this business ships thousands of items daily and ranks among the top third-party sellers in its space. With over 200 staff across three countries, data and technology are central to how they scale effectively.

Power BI / SQL Developer

Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite in South Oxfordshire

As a Power BI / SQL Developer, you’ll work closely with a talented Data & Insights team to develop reporting solutions, improve access to insights across the business, and support critical decision-making across sales, supply chain, marketing, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards that deliver clarity and commercial insight.
• Write, test and optimise SQL queries to support reporting and data exploration needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and turn them into effective visual outputs.
• Help modernise and scale reporting infrastructure, supporting the business’s shift from legacy systems.
• Play an active role in making data accessible and usable to non-technical users across departments.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and data modelling.
• Advanced SQL skills with a track record of working across multiple systems and large datasets.
• A commercial mindset – you’re not just technical, but curious about the business impact behind the data.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders and simplifying complex data into actionable insights.
• Any experience in ecommerce, online marketplaces, retail, or distribution environments is a big bonus.
