We're hiring a Business Development Executive to work alongside our Head of New Business and help us open doors with companies hiring for tech, digital, data and IT roles. Digital Waffle is a specialist recruitment business covering the above verticals. We work mostly with SMEs, scale-ups and founders across the UK. We're growing quickly and investing in the people who will help us scale.
Role: Business Development Executive
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 dependant on experience + uncapped commission
Location: Birmingham - hybrid 3 days per week.
What you'll be doing:
- Cold outreach, every day. Phone first, supported by email and LinkedIn.
- You will research target companies, find the right people to speak to, and book meetings for the Co-Founder and Head of New Business.
- Over time, you will run conversations end to end and build your own client base.
What we're looking for:
- Someone hungry, sharp and not afraid of the phone.
- Background doesn't matter much, attitude and output do.
- You could be coming from BD, sales, SaaS, tech, marketing or telesales.
- If high volume outbound is your norm, we want to talk.
- You bring real experience in a high volume outbound role (calls, not just emails).
- Comfort cold calling and handling rejection.
- Resilience, consistency and a competitive streak.
- A genuine interest in tech and how businesses grow.
