Digital Waffle is growing its US business, and we’re looking for two experienced Principal Tech Recruitment Consultants to join our Birmingham team.
Working directly with our US Director, you’ll play a key role in growing our presence in the US tech market—with the support of an established brand, strong candidate reach and market-leading recruitment technology.
The opportunity
We’re looking for experienced recruiters who can take ownership of their market, build lasting relationships and deliver results.
You’ll be:
- Recruiting exceptional technical talent across competitive US markets
- Building and developing strong client and candidate relationships
- Bringing specialist market knowledge to searches and advising on hiring challenges
- Headhunting difficult-to-reach talent and managing recruitment processes through to placement
- Identifying opportunities to grow your specialism and our US business
- Working closely with our US Director to help shape the next stage of our growth
Who we’re looking for
- An established tech recruitment consultant with proven experience recruiting into the US market
- A strong track record of placements and billings, with the ambition to build on it
- Credibility with technical candidates and hiring managers—you understand your market and can offer informed advice
- The confidence to take ownership, manage your pipeline and work independently
- A relationship-led approach, with high standards throughout the recruitment process
- Someone ready to make an impact at Principal level and contribute to the wider team’s success
The hours
You’ll be recruiting into the US, so working later UK hours to reach clients and candidates is part of the role.
We’re flexible about how you organise your day, provided you give your market the coverage it needs. We care about performance, accountability and results, and we’ll give you the autonomy to deliver.
