A growing technology services provider is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new logo acquisition within its cyber security division. This is a hunter-focused role centred on identifying, engaging, and winning new customers across target markets. You’ll work closely with technical, marketing, and vendor teams to position cyber security solutions that help organisations improve resilience, reduce risk, and meet compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers within target sectors
- Build and execute a structured new business strategy
- Generate pipeline through outbound activity, partner referrals, campaigns, and events
- Lead discovery conversations around customer security challenges and priorities
- Position solutions including network security, cloud security, XDR/SOC, managed services, and consultancy
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle to close
- Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, marketing, and vendor partners
- Maintain accurate CRM forecasting and pipeline management
- Achieve agreed revenue and activity targets
Skills & Experience
- Proven new business / hunter sales experience within technology or cyber security
- Track record of winning new logos and building pipeline from scratch
- Experience selling consultative or complex solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercially aware and target-driven
- (Desirable) Experience with cyber security technologies such as firewalls, XDR, SIEM/SOC, SASE, or consultancy services
- Exposure to enterprise, public sector, or regulated industries
- Experience working with vendor-led opportunities
