We are seeking multiple IAAP-certified Accessibility Specialist who holds either the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and/or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) credentials and/or CPWA (Certified Professional in Web Accessibility): Combo of CPACC + WAS.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our digital products, services, and platforms are inclusive, compliant, and user-friendly for people with diverse abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead accessibility evaluations of web and mobile applications using automated and manual testing methods.

  • Apply WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and ARIA standards to assess and remediate accessibility issues.

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, product owners, and QA teams to embed accessibility into the design and development life cycle.

  • Provide accessibility training and awareness sessions across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain accessibility documentation, including VPATs, accessibility conformance reports, and compliance roadmaps.

  • Advise on inclusive design practices, assistive technologies, and user-centered accessibility approaches.

  • Monitor legal and regulatory requirements (ADA, Section 508, EU Accessibility Act, etc.) and ensure compliance.

  • Partner with disabled users and advocacy groups to integrate feedback into product improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • IAAP CPACC Certification (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies).

  • IAAP WAS Certification (Web Accessibility Specialist).

  • Proven experience in digital accessibility testing, remediation, and advisory.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines

    • ARIA techniques

    • Assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)

    • Automated accessibility testing tools (AXE, WAVE, Lighthouse, etc.)

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and knowledge of accessible frameworks.

  • Ability to produce accessibility statements, VPATs, and conformance reports.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Additional IAAP certifications (ADS, CPWA) or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps environments and integrating accessibility into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of usability and inclusive design principles.

  • Experience delivering accessibility training and workshops.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
