Do you enjoy being hands-on, close to the numbers, and fully owning results? Are you looking for a senior role where you’re trusted to shape strategy, performance, and creative direction? We’re currently working with a highly successful performance-led digital marketing agency built to scale ambitious eCommerce and education brands. The team is sharp, commercial, and genuinely obsessed with results - blending smart strategy with hands-on execution rather than hiding behind dashboards and buzzwords. It’s an agency where senior people are trusted to own performance, challenge ideas, and make things better. If you like autonomy, accountability, and being close to the numbers, you’ll feel right at home.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on performance role with real ownership. You’ll take the lead on paid media performance across a portfolio of eCommerce and education clients, owning strategy, execution, and results across Paid Search, Paid Social, and eCommerce shopping. Day to day, you’ll be deep in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), Meta, and some LinkedIn Ads - planning, building, optimising, and scaling campaigns with a clear focus on profitable growth. You’ll manage budgets, forecast performance, and constantly look for ways to push accounts further. Alongside this, you’ll guide a Graphic Designer and Copywriter, shaping creative direction and ensuring ads don’t just look good, but actually convert. You’ll be the go-to performance lead for clients, confident explaining what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
Skills and Experience
- Strong agency-side background in performance marketing
- Proven experience managing Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) and Meta Ads
- Comfortable owning accounts end-to-end: strategy, setup, optimisation, and reporting
- Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of ROAS, CAC, budgets, and growth metrics
- A sharp eye for high-converting ads and the ability to brief creative effectively
- Experience managing or working closely with design and copy resources
- Proactive, confident, and comfortable taking full ownership
- Clear communicator who can explain performance in a simple, commercial way
Benefits
You’ll be joining a business that genuinely backs its senior performance talent. The role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, alongside a strong overall benefits package. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely, giving you the freedom to structure your week in a way that works for you, while still feeling closely connected to the wider team. Beyond the package, this is a role that offers real autonomy and ownership, the opportunity to work with ambitious eCommerce and education brands, and the chance to influence strategy, performance standards, and ways of working in a business where results matter and good ideas are acted on.
